Booking Terms and Conditions.
These Booking Terms apply to the Coach House Bungalow our officers, Employees and agents ( ‘We’/’Us’/’Our’) and the person or legal entity making the booking or to whom we supply services in respect of the booking (‘You’/’Your’)
These Booking Terms are governed by English Law and apply to all bookings except where we agree in writing other terms. By making a booking, You are deemed to accept these Booking Terms.
Bookings are made and a Contract between You and Us comes into effect when We accept a reservation from You. We will accept a reservation when We have confirmed Your reservation and received deposit payment. You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18years of age to make a booking. Bookings must be payed for using an acceptable and valid form of payment.
Please Note. We have a minimum stay duration of 2 consecutive nights. Deposits are Non- transferable and Non- refundable. It is strongly recommended that you protect yourself against cancellation with personal travel insurance.
A reservation reference will be provided when Your Booking is confirmed. This reference must be retained for online or telephone access to the booking details of cancellation, if amendment is necessary.
All published rates include VAT where applicable ( and local taxes) at the current rate.
Rates are quoted as per stay duration, if you have selected supplements they will be added to the total price of the booking. Rates do not include other costs you may choose to incur during Your stay ( unless otherwise stated.) Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should you change the number of guests, dates or nights, then the rates are subject to change.
In the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver your requested accomodation, You will be offered alternative accommodation or a full and limited refund of all monies payed.
Notice of changes going forward due to Covid-19
We are all aware the pandemic has affected everyone globally, and to ensure we protect you, our guest and our property and the local community, we have put a number of safety precautions in place.
Before your arrival date, we send a letter to our guests informing them that they need to inform us before travelling if they display Coronavirus symptoms, to enable us to cancel the booking. Any refunds may be considered under these circumstances. We do not accept any guest on arrival displaying symptoms, and will refuse entry into Coach House Bungalow if necessary! During a guests stay, if they develop symptoms, we politely ask to be informed and ask guests to make arrangements to return home! We do not allow guests to ‘self-isolate’ in Coach House Bungalow.
On arrival these terms and conditions will be issued, and on receiving them will mean that guests will be accepting of the guidelines.
Arrival and Departure.
We ask that You contact us 48hrs before arrival with an approximate arrival time. Check-in is between 2pm and 8pm. We do not have a 24hr reception facility and for the safety and security of all guests ‘re-entry is only gained by means of hand delivering keys, a ‘Meet and Greet Service!’ We ask You to check-out before 10.30am on the morning of departure.
On arrival day, once You have parked your car in the Windermere Road Car Park ( Pay and Display is operated/Parking Permits available) or on the road opposite the Coach House Bungalow subject to availability, we ask You ring us on 07510929613 & We will meet you at the front gate of the Coach House Bungalow. Check-in is not possible after 8pm, unless arranged prior to arrival.
If You have payed the full amount for Your Booking and cancel more then 14 days before the scheduled date of arrival, a refund less than Your deposit will be refunded to You within 5 working days. If You cancel Your Booking within 14 days of the scheduled date of arrival, A charge equivalent to the total booking price that includes any supplements selected by You will be levied.
To make a cancellation You must telephone us on 07510929613 and quote Your reservation reference, reservation name and check-in date. Please have details of Your Credit or Debit Card available.
We deserve the right to cancel Your reservation at short notice if You fail, by default or omission, not to reveal at the time of booking or subsequently prior to Your stay, any fact that might affect Our decision to accept Your booking.
To amend Your booking, please telephone us on 07510929613. If You amend Your booking within 14 days of the scheduled date of arrival, and as a result You cancel less than 14 days notice, a charge equivalent to the total price of Your stay ( including any supplements selected by You) may be levied. It is strongly recommended that You protect yourself against cancellation with personal travel insurance.
A Non refundable Deposit equal to £50 per Night is required. Full Booking balance must be payed 28days before arrival. Credit or Debit Cards are acceptable as are cleared Cheques and Direct Bank Transfers.
Conditions of Stay.
We have some standard rules that are designed to ensure that we comply with regulations relating to matters such as fire, health and safety and to enhance the comfort and well being of our guests. If you would like to check out conditions of stay, please contact us.
We reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where you engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes disturbance or nuisance to other neighbours. This includes smoking within the premises and within eight paces of the front door and back door.
The Coach House Bungalow is Non Smoking, and it is against the law to smoke on the premises. This includes Smoking out of Windows, doors and Fire access points. A charge for Closure And Cleaning will be made to anyone found to have been Smoking, and that guest’s stay will be immediately ended without Refund.
The Coach House Bungalow is a family owned property that does not accept hen or stag group reservations.
We regret that guest’s pets are not allowed, and we would discourage guests from leaving them unattended in locked vehicles.
Other than for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or misrepresentaion, Our total Liability to You is limited to the price of the booking and to the fullest extent permitted by Law, all Warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will We be responsible for any indirect or Special Damages.
We will not be Liable to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond our reasonable control. You are responsible for any damages or loss caused to Us or Our property by Your act, omission, default or neglect and You agree to indemnify Us and to pay Us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage of loss.
